Dori,

Thanks! I appreciate that!

Have a great time in Vegas. (at the risk of sounding like a gambling

nut, I have visited Las Vegas, Monte Carlo (Monaco), Atlantic City,

Lake Tahoe, a riverboat docked near New Orleans, a riverboat in Kansas

City, and on a few Caribbean cruise ships... and I can say that Vegas

is the most fun for that sort of thing... although you can get more

than an eyeful of the " rich and famous " and tons of Rolls Royces, etc.

in Monte Carlo. Have a great time there. Also, although Vegas is now

doing its pitch for travel that is not really " family friendly, "

Circus Circus has some great shows that are good for the kids. Vegas

is also well known for having these monsterous buffets all over the

place... so just make sure to use common sense if you choose to eat at

one of those.

Melonie :)

Ok so I decided to visit the actual website and figure out how to

reply/post. So here is my reply for everyone to see just in case you

visit Vegas someday too.

Outback, PF Chang's, Pei Wei, In 'n Out Burger, and Carraba's are GF

friendly. They all have GF menus and the wait staff/cooks seem to

know about Celiac. However, In 'n Out Burger doesn't actually have a

GF menu but if you order the burger " protein style " it is wrapped in

lettuce instead of a bun. I would avoid the spread due to possible

cross-contamination. Their fries and shakes are GF too!

Let me know if you have anymore questions. I live in Vegas (yes

people actually live there), well my parents (and brother) live in

Vegas, as I am away at college.

This site has been so helpful and I'm glad I finally signed up. My

dad, non-celiac (mother isn't either so who knows where it came from),

signed up first. He may reply to this as well or be more helpful.

-, GF Aggie
