Guest guest
Dude, Before you let any MD put you on testosterone therapy, make them do a little more digging to find out why you're having these problems. Request the following tests: Estrogen Thyroid panel cholesterol fasting blood sugar iron The disturbing thing is that you're so young. This could point to some other serious condition that could be causing your low T levels. If all of these tests come back normal, I would request an MRI of the brain to look for brain tumors. And no, I'm not joking. Go to the " Links " section of this forum and download the AACE guidelines for hypogonadism. Take a copy with you on your next doctor visit... Now - to answer your questions: 1. - an Endo is probably best, but you may have to search to find one who knows how to treat low T properly. Read up on your condition and take charge of your own medical care. You may have to fight to get the treatment you need. 2. - months. There is usually a quick improvement then a crash as your body shuts down all its natural T production. You have to experiment to find the right levels, and everyone has a different " norm " . 3. - the side effects you have now are worse than any caused by treatments. They are no worse than if your T levels were higher by your own natural production. 4. - again, everyone's " norm " is different. As a young persone, your levels should probably be in the 600-800 range. There is a chart in the " Links " section. Check it out. How long does it take normaly for someone to feel normal again? Varies. Some say a couple weeks or so. I felt better within 2 days. But then it faded as E2 climbed. >3. Are side effects likely? I really don't like the idea that I might become bald and hary. I >have always had a full head of hair, and would like to keep it. Baldness should not be an issue. But ask him to keep an eye on DHT which is linked with baldness when very high. Skin treatments of T to tend to cause some hair growth. (Not on your head!) >4. If my test level is 393, how level should I make sure it is raised to? Check the chart in files for your age group. I feel that if they';re tinkering they may as well shoot for ideal rather than normal. I find that about 100 points or so above my age group. >Thanks again everyone. Hopefully I can be horny as a 26 year old like a 26 year old should >be! Have you had an E2 test yet? There's a study in older men showing treating E2 can raise T levels 300 points. Because once you start on T replacement (understand your system will shut down and you will be replacing T not supplementing) you will in the long run go sterile and be on TRT for the rest of your life. SO looking into E2 and a jump start with HCG first would be advised. Either of these may get you normal without T replacement. And HCG preserves fertility, which at your age may be important. - - - - Just another albino black sheep

Guest guest
Thanks for writing me back . How long did she have to wear it to receive correction and how soon did you see improvement? What did they tell you for prognosis before she started? They're telling us 50-70% correction. I'm hoping it would be more than that. le Olathe Kansas - In Plagiocephaly , " stripes6060 " <taime@...> wrote: > > Hi, > Welcome to the group! Yes, it will work starting at 10 months old. Guest guest
> Thanks loads for your reply. Just wondering still, if > I don't have any red meat at all will your program > still work? ==>Yes, my program will still improve your immune system even if you do not eat red meat. > So basically, we only need to drink the electrolytye drink during the months/years it will take to get rid of the candida. Ie, you don't take the electrolyte drink anymore? Cause the Eskimos didn't even use sea salt in their food or anything. ==>The reason the electrolyte drink is important for candida sufferes is because candida are usually malnourished and have very poor digestion, in addition to having rigid cells caused by candida toxins. Not only does the sea salt aid digestion, but also the minerals are extremely important for digestion and many other functions in the body. Also candida sufferers usually have malfunctioning livers and adrenals. Lemons help the liver and adrenals detoxify, as well as helping the entire body detoxify, and they also aid digestion. Salt (sodium plus chloride) helps the adrenals significantly! ==>However, because our foods do not contain the level of nutrients found in the Eskimos diet, due to depletion of nutrients in the soil, I believe it is important to obtain ensure you get enough minerals throughout your life. This is best done by taking at least 1 tsp of ocean sea salt per day as well as drinking a good water that contains natural minerals, per Sally Fallon, founder of the Weston A. Price Foundation. Alternatively you can take 10-15 drops of " ionic minerals " two times per day in water which I take when I don't eat veggies instead of having ocean sea salt - too much salt depletes potassium and the best source of potassium is veggies.
