The new mainstream cereal by General Mills called " neopets Islandberry

Crunch " (UPC 1600017148) is GF as per phonecall January 12, 2006.

This is a great new alternative sweeter cereal for kids (and grown up

kids, too!). My kids are enjoying it as I type this and my two-year-

old-SillyYak has already asked for more :)

Take care..

WOW! Thanks for sharing that! I couldn't find this cereal on the

General Mills site, but did a google search on it and found it...

along with the ingredient list...

Looks like WalMart is supposed to be carrying this cereal.

I'll be on the hunt for this new kid cereal.

THANKS again!

Melonie :)

My son can't seem to get enough of it, so it passes the kid test :)

To be honest, I scarfed down a big bowl of it myself this morning,

because it was so nice to have a new option :)

Walmart is supposed to carry it, but it wasn't in our Walmart yet when

I checked tonight.

I bought this today at Walmart. My kids

loved it. One thinks it tastes like Berryberry Kix, another thinks it is more

like Capn Crunch crunchberries. Either way, they were thrilled to have a new

option.

YEAH!!! A new cereal for my boys to try... I'm so excited

and can't wait to find it. If anyone knows of a store in the San

Francisco Bay Area that carries it, please share the information with us.

If I find a store that carries it, I will do the same.

Thanks for sharing this information!

I found it at Meijer in a great big display that had several new

General Mills cereals, but this was the only GF one in the bunch.

I've since read online that Walmart is going to be carrying it, too.

what is the name of these cereals cmMarvin and Bjorge wrote: I found them at both my local grocery stores and my 4 year old loves them! She is so excited about a new cereal and it is a fun exciting cereal for her that all the other kids want too! They are a bit smaller than Kix for size but my 1 1/2 year old can use them for finger snacks and we will be having

them in the church nursery for the kids. They have passed the taste and appeal test here! I just hope they will continue making them and maybe expand their GF cereals! Gluten Free makes me feel good and it taste good too!

I live in the San Francisco bay area and the Albertsons in Half Moon Bay carries this cereal. I had my kids try it and they love it. So do I! I hope it stays around for a long time. I'm now buying it by the case. Remember when Malt O Meal decided to change their cereal ingredients; don't want this to happen to Neopets before I stock up at home for atleast a year. My brother works in the grocery business and he said that cereal will last for up to a year if it is sealed and in a cool dry place. I'm definately stocking up on this one! I hope you all find it in a store nearby. Isabel onesillyyak wrote: WOW! Thanks for sharing that! I couldn't find this cereal on the General Mills site, but did a google search on it
