Guest guest
today is 10 days in the DOCband and Chase is still doing fine. His teething is a bit better too! I just noticed one thing yesterday that there was some pinkish spots on this forehead but it goes away before an hour passes. I also noticed that the protruding part of his forehead is now looking very flattened, maybe it's getting tight. It doesn't look bad but definitely not protruding any longer!!!!!!!!! It's amazing how quickly things change. Funny thing I noticed he already developed a habit of banging his band while eating. Tonight I had the chance to feed him without it on and he was banging on his head, not good. He used to pull his hair prior to the band, it's so long and curly. Also for people worrying about hair, cutting it etc. I don't think anyone could have more hair than him and he was always really hot before the band. I'm surprised how his body adjusted so much. He does sweat occasionally but not bad at all. And my husband cleans it at night while I bathe him and no linger odor at all. So that's our weekly update. Hope everyones doing well too. Guest guest
Sherry, Great update. Sounds like he is growing and will need an adjustment soon. If the pink spots get red and won't fade call the clinician. I am glad that Chase is doing so well. Guest guest
Sherry, Sounds like Chase's correcting nicely and will need an adjustment soon! Both times we saw dramatic improvement in the first couple of weeks. The fresh pressure points really can get things going quickly Good news about his forehead bossing correcting! Dane was a head banger. He didn't start doing it until he was out of his band. It was so weird. We were so afraid that he was going to hurt himself or that he had some emotional things. He actually did it for about a year! The doctor was right. He outgrew it. He probably did it for so long because it upset me so much and he'd get a reaction from it.
