Ok, I have a couple questions to ask and hopefully some of you will have answers! ) My son is 8.5 months old and has Torticolis and Positional Plagio. He's been in P.T. for a couple months, it's helping. He is on week four in his Clarren helmet.(Old school I know) Ok, my first question is - Is there a difference between Plagiocephaly and Positional Plagiocephaly? I know positional is from being in the same postion to often but are they the same? We've seen some great improvement in the back of his head with the helmet, but not on the top or with his forehead. (I know it's early) But since Mayson has had the helmet the lymph nodes on the back of his head have been swollen.(he's healthy) His helmet hits them perfectly when he is sleeping. They started to swell about 4 days after we started the helmet. I'm making an appt. on Monday to have them checked out to be sure it's nothing else, but i feel confidant it's from the helmet. Sooooo, i'm kind of looking to see if we have other options for treatment. Besides the swollen nodes, my gut is telling me the helmet is not right for him and that a band might be better. Supposedly we have a couple Hanger orthotics around here and my second question is - Is there anyone from Washington State that has used the Hanger locations in Federal Way or Lakewood?
