Guest guest
ok well someone else told me to put it back on her when I thought that they had faded enough and now you are saying leave it off which is what I initially thought I was suppose to do. I don't want her to have a skin break down. Is it ok to maybe put band aids over the red marks and then put her helmet on or should I just leave it off all together???????? Guest guest
, 's right. You'll be best served by leaving it off. If she would get skin breakdown she'd be out of the band a lot longer than 2 days. She must be growing!

Guest guest
I agree--leave it off. We had without his last week when the same thing happened (which is why Jon had to take him in on Thursday). having had a child in a helmet once before everyone is right. They say to wear it 23 out of 24 hours a day but the occassional longer stint out or night out here or there really won't damage the end result as long as it's not a regular occurrance. Hope you can get in right away on Monday to get it adjusted.

Guest guest
We have taken out of his Starband for the rest of the weekend for the same reason. There were two light pink/red marks, not worth a long term setback to keep him in it even though this was " opening weekend " . Too bad too because he is going through a growth spurt right now... Guest guest
, Any red mark that doesn't fade within the hour off needs to be adjusted. I'd keep his band off of him until it was adjusted. You'll be so happy you did this once he graduates. He'll have a nice round little noggin. Let us know how your appointment goes tomorrow. -- In Plagiocephaly , " jprobst121 " <jprobst@...> wrote: > > Hi everyone, > > Jake is going for his first week's checkup tomorrow at Cranial > Tech.
