Well, since my tubes were tied, the hydro was in both halves close to the

uterus I think. So the doctor (who actually is in charge of the tubal site

at INCIID) reconnected " healthy " tube he says. The rest was removed. Sniff,

sniff. But I have read that hydro is more likely to cause miscarriage than

ectopic. So I guess if it came back (and if I had a choice), I'd have to

choose the lesser of 2 evils. Ugh! But as much as I want to be preg and

have a new baby, it looks like it would be in everyone's best interest if we

don't add to our family. The reason that makes it all worth it is: The

courts have awarded me perm. custody of my 2 nieces. I no longer have to

worry about them being split up and/or adopted by strangers! I feel

obligated to take care of the children that are already here. So it's good

news and bad news. And a big relief. I swear I was losing so much sleep

during the last week of each cycle. I was literally getting about 2 hrs of

sleep a night.

OK, so I don't know what to say really. Congratulations on getting permanent

custody of your nieces. I certainly know the dangers of kids getting caught

up in the system. As far as your decision not to add any more by getting

pg...If this resolution has allowed you some peace, then I am happy you were

able to work through this and come out on top.
