I have my scan on the 29th of this month and my RAI scheduled on the

30th. I am an assistant principal in a middle school of 1200

students and am trying to get some sort of timeline of when I might

feel like myself and be able to go back to work. Any suggestions?

Also - I read the information about driving while HYPO - what about

after the RAI? The literature I received from radiology stated that

I couldn't be closer than 3 feet to someone for more than 15 minutes -

what suggestions do you have so that someone can drive me there.

Thanks.

Some people get it in a pill, some in a drink.

My scanning doses have been pills, but my ablation dose was a drink. It

didn't taste like much of anything. I wouldn't choose to drink it for it's

(non)-taste, but didn't find it objectionable or icky or dis-tasteful.

I had no problems with nausea but some people do; you could discuss this

with the doctor. I've never been prone to nausea with any pills, even those

that commonly cause trouble, but some people are very sensitive to this sort

of thing. It's not a character issue! I'm a definite wimp in other ways. So

if you/he think that nausea might be a problem, be sure to have measures on

hand (others here know more about this) -- you SO do not want to upchuck

that stuff!

Thanks for the RAI postings. I keep trying to search the archives. I don't

think I'm doing it right.
