I couldn't agree more. It is excellent. Thanks for bringing to the

groups attention again. I've referenced it often since Barbara (UK)

introduced it to the group in 2002 (msgs 42451 & 45562).

I forwarded this link to my GI and the transplant clinic where I was

considered for hepatobiliary bypass surgery. The description of the

surgery was great- it took the doctor 10 min to explain it and I was

overwhelmed by how complex it was. The kicker was when I learned (from

this group) that the surgery can make transplant harder, which this

article states upfront. I've thanked my lucky stars many times since

that the surgery proved impossible, and so far, unnecessary.

This article is hard to find- it never came up near the top in my

extensive google searches at the time.

Thanks,

Martha (MA)

Dear , Once again I'm thanking you for more useful information that is helping our family understand and take the right path in understanding and dealing with PSC. Being so new to this disease, the Hopkins article was easily understood and the illustrations were extremely helpful and very informative. Thanks. I'm so glad is doing so well at his internship. He looks so happy, he must really enjoy what he is doing and you and your wife must be incredibly proud. mother of Caity(15) PSC/AIH overlap 7/06
