Hi Michel,

The old fashioned remedy for low stomach acid is a teaspoon

of " real " apple cider vinegar in a glass of warm water first thing

in the morning. Similarly, freshly squeezed lemon juice in warm

water does the same trick - used before meals. Third idea is home-

made sauerkraut (It has lots of digestive enzymes plus good acid).

My son can't cope with the betaine HCL tablets, I use a little

sauerkraut juice (probably only a tablespoon per meal) as often as I

remember.

TK--- yes it is, just start with small doses and work up.

Thanks na for your answer... I guess the lemon one is the best

for me.. I guess I should avoid apple cider vinegar because I

suspected Candida two months ago...

I don't think that Apple cider vinegar aggravates candida. Nothing

survives in vinegar
