Guest guest
I know that I am just over the line for Lupus. My blood work shows that but I have not been diagnosed with it and hope not to be diagnosed. I think that there might be a bit of a link but I don't think that the link will cause you to have lupus. If you have the butterfly rash, I would for sure talk to my doctor about it. My blood work also show that I have an elevated level and has for many years. I have been diagnosed with polyarthritis which means that no one is sure what is wrong. I have found out that polyarthritis is rare so it is hare to find out to much about it. My immune system is not good and that is because of the fibro. So, I just keep plugging away and hope that somebody, somewhere will come up with something that will help me before I die. Young people that have fibro and tinnitus are very more likely to have either a cure or a medication that will help them in both of these illnesses. Guest guest
Hi Darcy, I've actually seen several different kids of doctors. My doctor said basically today that he feels strongly that I have Lupus, but cannot yet conclusively say that I do have it. He said of course, I absolutley do have FMS, probably Lupus, and quite possibly something else as well. Some people with lupus will not have a positive on those tests for lupus. Lupus is often difficult to diagnose and can be confused with fibro at times (although lupus doesn't have the tender points). You can also have both at the same time. Like fibro, lupus can take years to get to the point where they can definitely say you have it. Do you have some of the other symptoms of lupus? Is this doctor a rheumatologist? My rheumatologist said she doesn't think I have lupus, but she can't absolutely rule it out either. I always feel better with answers even if I have to struggle with the illness. Darcy
