Thank you Michele, Kim, Deedee and Bonnie,

I really appreciate all the input. He just had his 3 year eval for his IEP

at the beginning of this school year. He scores too high on the cognitive

pieces to qualify. My special ed teacher has looked into over and over. She

has many years of experience and in unlike most of the teachers we have had.

She really cares!

I am looking forward to the results on Aubrie. I am very curious to see what

they say.

Tyler only really struggles in reading. I know that 3rd grade is a huge

change. My daughter is in 3rd grade now.

The other dilemma we are dealing with right now, is the need to change schools

next year. We are going to start the transition the first week in April. It

will be an interesting change. We are currently at a Charter school and moving

to our neighborhood school. My daughter is already at the neighborhood school

this year, so that will make it a little easier. At least I know some teachers.

Well, thanks again. Any more advice would be greatly appreciated.

Bonnie, thank you for the warning. I agree that testing really sucks and is

typically inaccurate. Testing with someone new would be really hard. The

teachers that test him now, really know him, and are able to give their opinion

to if he was focused, tired of testing or really trying hard. But I totally

agree with you!
