Unreal. Absolutely unreal.

The link for the first CPS bit didn't come through.

So what does having power of attorney do for you? Can she still come take

him back?

UGH.

She can, she probably won't. He's a handful. And this is just 2nd

half.

>>A lot of people would just give up.<<

How could I? He's the love of my life. If we just let him go then

he'll never have a life. I couldn't do that. After CPS asking

about school and her saying " not yet " for the fourth time, I

knew she had no interest at all. She is trying to look good for her

BF and his family. Ha! When B was born, the bf's mother, knowing B's

problems told and Ray that she had raised her kids and not

to bring him to her home. Ugh! Then the whole time he was here did

she call once? No. Now she's grandparent of the year? Not bloody

likely.

Debbi:

You are my hero! I can't believe what you have been through so unselfishly

to protect this child. I wish I had some good advice for you, but it sounds

like you are on top of it. An idea tho ... perhaps a private detective

could gather more damning evidence if you need to terminate parental rights,

sounds terrible I know.

Good luck and keep us posted,

Good Grief!!! How long is your power of attorney good for? My word

but that is quite a tale. What a nightmare! You have to wonder

what in the world is wrong with CPS to be so blind.

She has done nothing illegal that she has been caught at. My husband is the

original snoopy dog. He came up with so much crap on Ray and . He even

found an old arrest on Ray's mom. Not much more is out there. There is

nothing on , anywhere. I wish I could afford a PI but I know what

she does all day. She goes to school (at least she says so) or she sleeps.

Every time I called she was asleep. Watta life, eh?

Another amazing tale. You know many people consider ADD to be on the

spectrum too; I was wondering about and whether she was somewhere

on the spectrum from the very beginning of your story. Because clearly

something is up with her.

How old are your other kids?

LOL, another long complicated story. They are 16 and 14 and live with their

dad.

>>You know many people consider ADD to be on the spectrum too<<

I heard this a few months back, it doesn't surprise me. I though Buster was

ADD for the longest time. The delayed speech didn't ring any familiar bells

but the other stuff was on some freaky steroid. When was

small I thought she was a pistol, I know now that it was *nothing* compared

to Buster's activity level.

Debbi - Buster's story made me cry. I'm so sorry for him and what he's

been through. (and you two as well!) I hope things get much better now

that some things have changed as far as your authority over him goes.

He is so lucky to have you. I can't believe CPS are so reluctant to get

involved in cases like this but seem to harass other people who aren't

doing anything like this at all! The recent stories in the news of

abused and even murdered children, ought to give them some pause!

I hope things continue on the right path for all of you.

Bless you,

~ Karin
