Guest guest
In 1997 my amalgam replacement cost $3300 for 11 fillings (four large) and one root canal. I believe my replacement material was called Conquest and had no metal in it. blakeeugenefrederick wrote: Hello group; Can anyone tell me what is the average cost of amalgam removal and replacement. Guest guest
I had 8 amalgams replaced, plus had a wisdom tooth pulled and some miscellaneous dental work, for about about $3900 by a highly-regarded dentist closely associated with Huggins. I also paid for some tests, which should answer your other question. Many dentists will want you to do a blood test to check for biocompatibility of the fillings. The test was something like $250 and well worth it. I spent more than I absolutely had to, but I got a very good dentist who people typically travelled some distance to see. Unless you live in a very expensive part of the world, you should be not paying significantly more than I did, and you should also be able to get quality work done for less if you're on a tighter budget with a little research. Factoring in your different needs, of course. :-) > > Hello group; > > Can anyone tell me what is the average cost of amalgam removal and > replacement. Guest guest
God, this is so incredibly embarassing, but I don't know, I never asked. LOL The test booklet I got back deserves the name of a booklet. It was packed with way more information than I thought I deserved for $250, and it's not easy to decipher for someone with just a casual interest in this. > > > > Hello group; > > > > Can anyone tell me what is the average cost of amalgam removal > and > > replacement.
