Guest guest
> PLEASE let me know what you find out. > From my days working in a vet office this doesn't sound real good. > I wish you and your kitty all the best. Thanks, Georga! Marc was right! (whew) It's inflammation from an absessed tooth. We've got antibiotics for it. Phil has HORRIBLE dental hygeniene. He will NOT eat proper cat food, he'll only eat crap cat food. He will NOT let me brush his teeth withone of those over-the-finger deals. I don't know what else to do! The vet said he should have the tooth removed, but we just paid $350 to have one removed this time last year. :-( Relieved, Jacquie
Guest guest
> I hate to bore everyone with talk of kitty nutrition BUT what are you feeding him? What does he like to eat? He eats the crappiest of the crap. ANY generic store brand will do. We've wasted hundreds of dollars over the years with vet-purchased food, high-end pet shop food, all of it. He won't even deign to eat Purina Cat Chow, a mere rung above the sawdust he DOES eat! When he had the tooth removed last year, he ate Whiskas wet food (the kind in the little packets) and that's what he's eating today. I KNOW this food is bad for him. But I can't get him to eat anything better! In a lot of ways, my cat reminds me of my son. Jacquie
