Naw, he never knew. I find it works better to spring things on him than to

give him any advance warning.

words in a sentence, and had to put it down. I guess I'm not smart.

Naw. I'm very smart, and I can't read Tolkien either. Or Dickens. Or

Steinbeck. Or E.M. Forster. Too many words, too much description. What I

do read tends to be very terse writing, or heavy on dialogue. I LOVE

reading, but I cannot read wordy authors - my brain just won't do it!
