Guest guest
Great Jacquie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cecilia, from Peru (mom to Dessiree 3½ yo, no dx yet some autistic traits) Lovely husband -----Mensaje original----- De: Jacquie Enviado el: Miércoles, 08 de Enero de 2003 06:38 p.m. Para: parenting_autism Asunto: Jeff is a wonderful daddy (OT) I dont know how I could have forgotten to tell you all this. lol But with everyone being sick for so long I guess it slipped my mind. Jeff plays Ultimate Frisbee on Saturday mornings. He drives to the next town and has about 3 games. That means he is gone from 8am until 1 pm. Well he hadnt been to a game in ages. He was helping me with the kids after Yessenia was born and then there wasnt a game for a long time and then soccer season. So the first chance he got to go was Thanksgiving day. A very big event and lots of fun. I told him to go. he was thrilled. So all morning I am fixing the dinner and I got the kids all dressed up for the day. When it was about 12:30 I see jeff's car pull up. I go over to the door to unlock it(we have evry possible exit locked like you wouldnt beleive because of Alec) and he is standing there with 2 roses. He hands me one and hands the other to Yessenia. I could have cried. He told me now that there are 2 girls in the house he has to get them both flowers. Jeff hardly ever gets me flowers so this was extra special all around. Jacquie

Aren't ALL men this thoughtful and kind and supportive and caring and loving and oh shit! I think I need to give myself a good hard slap in the face. Guest guest
lol....you have to know that the reason I even posted this is because it shocked the hell out of me! Jeff does NOT do these things as a rule. First he says that I will come to expect them and they wont mean as m,uch and then he will have to do it and he doesnt need that pressure. ugh. Second he said he doesnt ever want Yessenia to be a daddy's girl and so he will not spoil her in any way. ugh again. H is seldom affectionate. I dont know what comes over him sometimes. This is why I had to share. Jacquie H Re:Re: Jeff is a wonderful daddy (OT) Beautiful. Jen, By the way doesn't everyone's husband do these things?
