Guest guest
That is puzzling! The only thing I can say is that your high cortisol could also be a cause of some of your hyper like symptoms, such as heart palpitations and anxiety. Hmmm, keep us updated . . . Guest guest
I was just diagnosed with breast cancer. My husband has just told me he has a girlfriend and has moved out, he never even bothered to ask me how the appointment with the breast surgeon went! ( it's been 10 days and he still doesn't know I have cancer. My mother just finished chemo for colon cancer and we just found out they is something on her liver. I went to every chemo appt. with her. I am overwhelmed. Dianne
Guest guest
Sounds like your dh ran at the first sign of trouble, before he found out so he wouldn't feel obligated to stay. As far as I'm concerned he's pathetic. You are going through quite a lot. Try and find a support group in your area, I think under the circumstances you are going to need what I call In Person support. This group is great but you'll need help in your community. Do you have other communities close to home, people you can talk to and who can hug you. LICS June "The best protection any woman can have...is courage." Guest guest
Dianne, I am so sorry for all you are going through! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Do you have someone to talk to about this? As soon as I found out I had a suspicious mass I immediately put a good support system around me, including this site. I have more than my share of friends who have beaten breast caner, and many with no personal experience and upon telling them, of my situation, they immediately stepped up to the plate. Talked to an old college buddy, I haven't seen in 20 years, but have kept in touch with via email, and she was a great source of comfort. Depending on the biopsy results she will be sending me lots of info. Hang in there! I think our girl friends are our best support in a time like this! They keep you grounded! Guest guest
Take one day at a time. It's hard to imagine a husband would walk out at such a time as this. He is either a real jerk or he can't cope with your illness. He might have seen all you went through with your mother's treatment and just can't face the prospect of dealing with it again much closer to home. If it's the latter he just might return. If he is a jerk you are better off with out him. As someone else told you previously, you are what's important now. Take care of yourself. surround yourself with your friends and develop a strong support network for yourself. Check and see if there are any organized support groups in your area and attend their meetings. You will find that a world of good and will more than likely find someone else that has had a similiar experience with her husband. There was a lady in my support group whose husband did the same to her. She has since moved to New Jersey and she says she is much better off without him. She was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer about 6 years ago. Take care. I will be praying for you.
