Guest guest
Holly, This is exactly the issues we are having with Dylan. Your post has been extremely helpful to me and I think we are going to go ahead and move Dylan to a big bed. Thanks! Guest guest
Holly, Much congratulations to you and !!! I bet you (and of course ) feel so free! I can completely understand 's attachment to the brace considering the fact that it has been a part of her since 8 months. Zachary is down to 16 hours a day and we feel a wonderful sense of freedom just with this change!!! When did you go down to 12 hours a day? Just curious and looking forward to that day as well! Hope all is well with you. Do you plan to go back to Iowa City any time soon? We'll be going back (and of course staying at the Mc House) in June when both my husband and I have the summer off (teachers). Take Care!! And again, CONGRATS!!! Guest guest
, Thanks for showing me that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Actually, I'm not overly anxious to go down to 12 hours a day (of course we'll celebrate when it comes time for that, but we're okay right where we are too). It's interesting how my family and my husband's family reacts if there ever around when we put the bar back on Zach before bedtime. They groan, and have these really sympathetic looks on their faces. It's nothing like that. Zachary doesn't mind one bit when the bar goes back on. It's just a normal part of our bedtime routine. They then proceed to ask in a really sad tone " Gosh, how long does he have to wear that thing? " ...again, I don't think much about that since it hasn't been an annoyance to us at all. (an adjustment at the beginning, yes) Anyhoo, sort of got off topic there a bit. Again, thanks for your input!!! Yippeee to 12 hours!!!!!
