Guest guest
Hi everyone, I went to the Phonic ear site and you won't believe what I found. Well maybe you will but I didn't know anything like this exsisted. I found a product called Sprite, it is a hearing aid and FM system in one. It's a programable hearing aid that comes with a programer that they said you just enter the audiogram results (I don't know about ABR) and it programs the aid, but even more cool is that it is for people with hearing abilities anywhere from normal to profound loss. In other words you can use it only as an FM system if you have normal hearing. they said people with AD/HD use it as well as those with CAPD. So if we wanted to order this they couldn't argue that his loss is too mild. But the thing is it can be used as a hearing aid and FM system all the time, or it can be used as an aid with the mic or just with the mic and no amplification except the speakers voice. How cool is that, it is all in one nothing to attach or detach, you just flip a switch if you want to switch from aid to aid/FM or if you want to switch to aid/FM mic or if you just want mic you flip it to mic only. So for if they didn't want to aid him for all situations they just would not set the aid and so he could only use it as an FM or with the mic. Anyway I had to share this with everyone because I had no idea there were products like this out there.
