Lucila,

Sorry to hear that your cervix is scared yet again. Did you have the "in office" procedure yet?? What was the situation? Thanks also for informing us that Dr Vancaillie will be in America for 6 months. Is he going to be working there?

Good luck with your Boston Support group. I sent you an email before but maybe you didn't see it. I was asking if you would like your group mentioned on our website so that others interested in joining can get in touch with you. Let me know if you are interested.

I was also going to ask you if you wanted to join our AsherSurro group since you are in the process of researching this route. There are 10 of us in this group now and one of those is a surrogate.

I'm looking forward to seeing your sisters logo designs. Please thank her again.

Tricia and I just spoke. We will do a NY/Tri State one beginning in a few months.

I also plan (though not right away) to have a website designed for the Boston group - which would have a link to this group/website. Let me know what you think and how we could start a section, if you think that's a good idea. It sounds like a group of sorts (at least for a supportive dinner) formed in the SF, California area as well. Also, though I am not totally going the route yet, I would like to join the surroasher group, if just for support and info in making this decision. Let me know the details. Thanks Poly,

Jo,

Good luck with ttc and hope a period does not come this Monday. Also, keep us updated on what happens with your lawsuit. Many members are in that process now and I'm sure many will be interested in your outcome.

Tammy I have PCOS and this is the diet I follow mostly. I have got

refined carbs out and eat only wholegrain bread, pasta and rice. I

eat some high glycemic fruits and veggies but the key is to have some

protein and fat with them to level the blood sugar. For example I

eat a banana (high GI) every day with a handful of almonds or

peanuts. I eat 5-6 times a day and each time I eat it's

protein/fats/carbs. I have lost 25 pounds since January eating this

way.

Good for you getting back on track. Just take it one day at a time.

don't push it too hard on the tread the first week or so. Just get back

in the habit. Don't want to get hurting and then not do it again!

Wasn't it you who pushed me to go 3.6, then 3.9 way back when it was

still a club? That was great! I still think about it when now I can

walk casually at 4.0!!!!

For the tummy being stretched, do you drink water before you eat so it

isn't as empty? That helps me I know.

Hi :

Did your doctors give you any indication as to why it took so long to

resume menstruation? (congrats by the way)

I never resumed menstruating after giving birth - so they initially

thought I had Ashermans. Turns out I'm SU (to be confirmed in Jan

when I get the mri results). After two hysteroscopies I started to

menstruate a very little bit each month. I was really hoping that a

resection would put me back to normal. So I am very interested in

your circumstances.

Season's Greetings.

Congratulations on making a decision and on the insurance approval. Two weeks

is fairly short notice but as I have been through many surgeries with both my

kids while it's a little apprehensive when you have short notice, I have found

it better that way because you don't have much time to sit and dwell on what's

going to happen, and all that lovely stuff. You can spend most of your time

preparing for the surgery. I am sure she will do wonderful. Again

congratulations on your decision.

update

Hi everyone. I just thought I would send a short note to let you all

know what is going on with us. We did decide to go with the

bilateral implant for my daughter. And we just heard on Friday that

the insurance company has approved so that is what we are definitely

going to do. I can't say that I wasn't very surprised when I heard

this. I expected the insurance company to take longer to approve the

procedure. I guess since they had already approved for the one side

it helped it go faster. So now we are just playing the waiting

game. She is scheduled to have her surgery on March 1st which is

only two weeks away. I can't believe it. It is coming up so fast.

Part of me wants to slow down and the other part of me wants to have

the surgery already done. Here's hoping that I can keep myself busy

over the next two weeks so that the time goes by fast. Take care all

and I will keep up updated on what is happening.
