I remember feeling that way and I want you to know you will find your way again, and you will make some changes along the way. I will keep you in my prayers.

I just joined this group and have been reading all the messages for about a

week.It seems to be a mix of a wide variety of experiences and also states of

treatments and recovery. It is natural to feel an acute chnge in your " sense of

self " as there are so manyadjustments and losses to be dealt with (not to

mention fear and panic) this is natural and probably universal and there seem to

be many members here that can help you. There are many

accounts of admirable women and how they got through this but this does not mean

that someone at the beginning is not admirable too This group seems to be

supportive of those just diagnosed and feeling lost(am I right? winnie

This group is here for anyone along the journey.... From beginning to SURVIVOR and beyond. We have all been in the place of the beginning. It has only been since late November that I was diagnosed.

My outlook has changed 100% since joining this group.

I'm so glad things are improving Ruth...you've been in our thoughts and good wishes were going out to you...

Wonderful news about the pathology report! You must be so relieved; I know I'm "tickled pink" for you!

Best,

,

Thanks for your concern. The hemotoma is down from about a B cup size

to a little over an A. I have been sleeping sitting up and now have a

single " love handle " on the right side, where some of the blood

pooled. My whole right side is black and blue. Looks like I was in

one hell of a fight! Slow going, recovery wise. However, I got some

very good news, yesterday. The final path report shows NO involvement

of the nodes! Only the sentinal node was taken and the biopsy at time

of mastectomy showed no involvement. There is a false negative rate

of about 5% so this confirms the good news. The size of the tumor was

1 inch. I'm hoping I doged the bullet and won't need chemo or radiation.

Ruth

PS Still don't know what it is like to be " totally " flat chested on

the right side! Ouch, ouch, can't wait to find out.
