Guest guest
Amber, Thanks for the input!!! That would be really awesome if that turns out to be the case!!! Unfortunately, I've got major experience with hpts...and the reason I use Confirm is because it's one of the ones that let's you keep your result as a keepsake...and it's always the first one to give me a positive even when it doesn't show up right away. However, I like your theory better...and I hope I get to look silly and say. " Oops, I goofed! " This is just so much like the last 2 pregnancies tho...I should def. know by morning when I re-test. Until then, I'm going to try to stay neutral. Thanks for the positive thoughts!!! M ... Most HPT's have evaporation lines. What that means (although you probably know) is that a negative may appear as a positive if it is left for too long. To the best of my knowledge (and I am on several infertility groups, and have heard this in many places), EPT is the only brand that DOES NOT have evaporation lines. (Unfortunately, I'm in Canada, and they don't have them up here). So, what I'm trying to say is I am really hoping that what you got was an evaporation line. I will be saying lots of prayers for you. Let us know on Monday what you find out. Amber
Guest guest
I had a really faint blue line one morning when af was late, and later on that day af came. I had b/w done anyway, and it was neg. I read my test after two hours. So I guess what I saw was the evaporation line. I hope all works out for you. I'll keep you in my thoughts. --- Marks wrote: > Amber, Thanks for the input!!! Guest guest
Wow, really ?!! Do you remember what brand it was? This was my first time using Facts Plus and it is the only one I've ever used with a blue line, so I'm a-thinkin' and a-hopin' that that's just what I got-an evaporation line!!! (Altho I didn't get one the first time I used it, but I imagine maybe different amounts of " sample " may play a role???) I'm sure glad you shared that with me. Might help me sleep better... Guest guest
, actually it happened to me twice. I forgot to tell you. The first time was with Fact Plus and the second time that I told you about before was Clear Blue Easy. Both had blue lines, but I don't know if that matters. On the other hand, when I had my ep, I had a faint red line, but I think it was more noticeable than the other two. I hope you did sleep better. Please let me know how you are doing! --- Marks wrote: > Wow, really ?!! > Do you remember what brand it was? Guest guest
, it is me again. I wanted to tell you that Fact Plus measures around 100 (I don't know the units) of hcg but it is one of the highest for the hpts. Clear Blue Easy measures around 50. I got this information from a web-site someone here recommended. I sure hope things turn out the way you want them to. I be sending some positive thoughts and prayers your way. --- Marks wrote: > Wow, really ?!! > Do you remember what brand it was? Guest guest
Sorry...I went against your advice. I am TOTALLY stressing, as the line is getting darker and coming up faster now. I am so VERY afraid because--please excuse the graphics--I have been feeling constant rectal pressure since last night and a dull pain (with occasional sharp jabs) on my L. side...the only side with a tube. I swear, I can't live like this...I mean, I'm going to be sooo embarrassed going back to the doctor again so soon after that last one. This is crazy...it is truly embarrassing...I was angry yesterday, and today I just wanna cry, cry, cry. If I lose this last tube, I will truly lose it...honestly.... , Don't stress yourself out too much, most home pregnancy tests will show positive faint lines after 1/2 hour. On Monday have the b/w done. Maybe you are about to start and that is why things feel heavy. Hang in there until you can have the b/w done. Guest guest
Hi , I totally agree with Becca. You shouldn't be embarrassed to go to your dr. After having been through what we been through, sometimes you have to be your own " healthcare advocate " . And Becca is also right that you don't have to lose your last tube. My RE told me that even with one tube that doesn't have to mean that if a woman got pg and it is another ep in their last tube that they will lose their tube. So try not to stress out to much until you get to your dr and see what is what. I will have you in my thoughts and prayers. Please take care and let us know how you make out. Guest guest
, I am sorry that you are going through all of this right now. Weekends are the worst time for something like this. It gives you too much time to think and worry. I understand your concern completely, and I hope you call the doctor tomorrow first thing. Please don't feel embarrassed (I know, easier said than done), but you are rightfully concerned and you deserve to know what is going on. Please make sure you tell them the full story. It may help them get the results back faster, so maybe you can relax a little bit faster. I truley hope this works out for you. How many tests have you done? I might have missed it somewhere. I knew you were going to repeat the test. I'm sending lots and lots of prayers out to you! --- Marks wrote: > Sorry...I went against your advice. Guest guest
Thanks for the laugh! I dunno; I guess because it seems so unreal that this is happening again already, I feel like it couldn't be true...but alas, it is... Thanks so much for giving me something else to think about. M Don't worry about being embarrassed about going back to the doctor!! Trust me, I used to live with a bunch of med. students. After some of their stories - this is nothing to be worried about. For example, they claim one guy came into the ER with a light bulb up his butt and was too scared of breaking it to remove it himself! Now - unless there is something else you haven't told us, PLEASE don't worry about being embarassed. You must be so stressed right now. I wish I could do more. I'll be waiting to see what your bloodwork says. Even if you get bad news, you shouldn't expect to loose that tube. More people keep them (when treated early) than loose them. I hope I'm not freaking you out more... Take care - you'll be in my thoughts. Becca
Guest guest
Thanks Sheila...You guys have no idea how much that comforts me. I can't wait to see my reg doctor tomorrow. I know this is not viable...I just pray that I get to keep my tube... M Hi , I totally agree with Becca. You shouldn't be embarrassed to go to your dr.
