I think in some ways we do end up speaking their language...lol. Oh it's nice

to have someone who knows what they are like. Maybe some day your daughter and

my son will get married and become a royal couple...lol.

Jake had a transliterator named nna before he had the CI and of

course he could not say that. He called her who-e-ha-ha. I still

call her that when I ask people how she is doing and they all get a

kick out of it. He gets mad too!

Oh y'all are too funny! (Yes I am an Arkansan so I'm allowed to say " y'all " just

like every southern lady... LOL *wink*)

I still use words my nephew used to like " dajamas " (pajamas), " finger snails " ,

" par-tarts " (pop-tarts) and " dooce " (juice). I have to keep myself from saying

them to Leyla... She's going to have enough trouble as it is...

, I will add to The Princess' List Of Potential Suitors... LOL J/K

Hi Dawn! Welcome to the group!

I had acid reflux for years. My symptom was a cough. That was it. But I got

bronchitis twice from it before any doctor could figure out what was

happening. Then I was on acid blockers twice a day every day to keep things

in place.

Since I've been on the Beach and eating 6 times a day, I've not even had

heartburn. Every once in a while, if I know I'm going to eat spicy food,

I'll take an acid blocker to prevent heartburn. Eating frequently has made

all the difference in the world. And I've lost weight, too!

Hi Clara,

Yes, I'm in the same chapter as Shorty and Leola. They are wonderful people, I don't know how our chapter would survive without them! Were you in Plainview for fun day? I'm looking forward to getting to know my fellow TexasTops. I've met so many wonderful people on the cybertops loop, I KNOW I will enjoy this one as much, if not more. Thanks for the big welcome.
