I had a mastectomy over 2 1/2 years ago followed by chemo and

radiation. Two weeks ago I noticed a flat scaly black spot about the

size of pencil eraser on the side of my chest(you know, that horrible

flap of skin they insist on leaving even when you tell them you do not

want reconstruction?) Well, I looked today, and the spot is the size

of a dime. Still flat, black, and scaly. It doesn't hurt - it just

looks ugly and scares me. Could this be breast cancer coming back? I

don't have my 3 year checkup with the oncologist until early May.

Please tell me it's nothing to worry about. Marilyn
