That is why we are eager to provide them with the most factual information we can. "Scientific evaluation by one of the world's leading experts on gluten sensitivity and allergenicity, Dr. of the Food Allergy Research and Resource Program of the University of Nebraska, has confirmed again that our fries are gluten free and allergen free. Guest guest
As McD, GIG and others said from the start, the fries have always been GF. That was a lot of heck raising for nothing. richard --- cyebel wrote: > This is posted on the corporate website for > Mcs: > > Mc's Media Statement - 02/20/2006 > > > Mc's Fries are " Gluten and Allergen Free, " > According to Expert > > > > " We understand the concern that individuals in the > Celiac community > and others with food allergies may have regarding > foods that meet > their individual needs. Guest guest
Maybe, but had fun Just teasing...I for one am glad to hear it. My kids (not GF) have had Mcs during all this turmoil and it was torture not to help myself to their fries! Guest guest
Now that the Salem Witch Trials have ended, Mc has been cut down (thankfully only slightly singed), and the fires extinguished, I think I'll go back to eating my fries. Oh wait, I never stopped. --E Re: Statement from McsMaybe, but had fun Just teasing...I for one am glad to hear it. Guest guest
I still don't understand what happened though. Why are they GF now? Or I guess I should say, why was there a question about them being not GF? And why did they put them on the not okay list for a time? > > > This is posted on the corporate website for > > Mcs: > > > > Mc's Media Statement - 02/20/2006 > > > > > > Mc's Fries are " Gluten and Allergen Free, " > > According to Expert > > > > > > > > " We understand the concern that individuals in the > > Celiac community > > and others with food allergies may have regarding > > foods that meet > > their individual needs. Guest guest
As someone had mentioned earlier.....this still does not change the fact that the oil might be contaminated by being returned to the wrong fryer after straining. Take time to thoroughly check into this with your local restaurant, before feeling like you have the “green light” again. J
