Guest guest
Hi everyone I went to Atlanta today to see my allergist/ immunologist for my 6 month follow up visit. He discovered that I had an ear infection and the beginning of a sinus infection. He prescribed for me an oral antibiotic .. liquid Cefzil.. tastes nasty, but he is convinced that I absorb liquid meds better than pills...... We discussed the calcification that the sonographer mentioned to me while doing the ultrasound of my abdomen last week.. he said I shouldnt have any type calcification in my colon or small intestines.. and he wondered what the radiologist thought.. I am faxing him a copy of the report as soon as I get one. He also thinks that the things going on with me are autoimmune related and that eventually, I will be diagnosed as having systemic lupus. However, he would prefer that my body not make up its mind.. said it is better to not be diagnosed via blood work, as when lupus is in your bloodwork confirmed.. those patients usually develop kidney involvement or nervous system involvement.. neither of which I am interested.. I will let you guys know more as I know more.
