Guest guest
Amy, When I was pregnant with Emma and would go to my Dr. appt's, my OB/GYN would ask me if I was feeling at least 6-10 movements per day. Are you having that many? I'm sure the baby is moving around, but you just can't feeling it. But, I remember missing Emma move for a bit and wondering, hey - what's going on in there! {{{HUGS}}}

Guest guest
Amy R My baby is the same way. It totally freaks me out all the time. The baby will get into certain patterns were I could guarantee I would feel kicking then all of a sudden I can't rely on that anymore. If you are really concerned I would call the dr. Guest guest
, Thanks ! I do think I've been feeling at least 6-10, but for the past month or so, I've been feeling so much more, so I just started to worry a bit. Of course, like 15min after I sent the post, I had an active little one in my belly! Probably had 6-10 at least in that one little spurt of activity. Nothing like putting mommy in her place and telling her to get a grip! -AmyR 24wks
Guest guest
Amy, Hey there. I know it is so hard not to worry but I am sure everything is ok with your little one. I don't know about the growth spurts, I know sometimes mine seems to be quieter than others. I wish I could be more comfort. If nothing else, I would call you dr and telll them the baby is usually really active and hasn't been as active lately and see what they say. Take care, you both will be ok. Movement This baby has not been moving very much since Friday. It kinds of makes meworried something is wrong, but I'm trying not to dwell on it too much(obviously not doing a real good job of that though). I sent my dopplerback since I was feeling the baby move all the time every day...now I wish Istill had it for just a minute! Usually if I don't feel much during theday, I at least get some action going on when I go to bed, but haven'tnoticed that either. I just tried drinking some juice and poking andprodding my tummy to get a response, but nothing I guess they have theirslow periods?..maybe growth spurts where they are too busy working ongrowing to do much kicking? I just wish I would get a kick that says, heyI'm still in here! -AmyR24wks
Guest guest
Pam, Ya know I think maybe that's what bothered me as much as anything. The patterns that I had been able to rely on haven't been there. I have definately felt less in the past few days, but I guess there are so many reasons that could happen. I am not too concerned anymore since about 15min after I posted, we had a nice little round of activity. So now I just seem way over paranoid...and I was doing so good with just enjoying and not worrying *sigh* -AmyR 24wks
Guest guest
Thanks ! I think we are just fine (well at least baby is, mommy might just be a nut case)...baby decided to do a little dance about 15min after I posted. I think my dr actually expects me to call in between appts...when I was there last time, she said ~ oh, it's been a whole month since we've heard from you, what's going on? She was just teasing me though. But I did call ALOT in the very beginning of pg...oh, well I figure that's what they are there for. -AmyR 24wks

Guest guest
Amy R My little one does the same thing. I was asking my dr about it at one of my appts. When she went to listen to the h/b she was like I just felt 6 kicks. I guess they are just trying to scare us a bit. Pam 35 weeks
Guest guest
Amy - I remember I went it at 23.5 weeks, b/c I had not felt the baby move in a couple of days. Sure enough, I had 4 kicks while waiting to see the doctor, and while the dr was listening on the doppler, we heard movement, but have not felt it. I felt only sporadic movement until about 29 weeks. Now it seems more regular, but I still get worried during lulls. a > This baby has not been moving very much since Friday.
