Guest guest
I ordered the K-Toos two weeks ago and they are fabulous. I made an "Oreo" dessert with them (crushed cookies on the bottom, a layer of whipped cream cheese sweetened with confectioners sugar and cool whip, then a layer of devil's food pudding, then more cool whip on top). It came out tasting exactly like it did when I used to make it with real Oreos. I definitely recommend everyone try these if you liked Oreos! Guest guest
It just occurred to me, if I got one of those immersion bender thingies, I could make oreo blizzards. OREO BLIZZARDS. Life does not get better than moments of awareness like this. Lori in ATL > > > > I ordered the K-Toos two weeks ago and they are fabulous. Guest guest
ahhh The boat motor!! What a great idea!! I'm going to have to go a huntin for those cookies!! Surely in a city the size of Houston, I could find some?! We're so spread out though that I could spend in gas what I would in shipping! kathi in Houston --- Lori wrote: --------------------------------- It just occurred to me, if I got one of those immersion bender thingies, I could make oreo blizzards. Guest guest
I meant blender of course. I'm just way too excited. > > > > > > I ordered the K-Toos two weeks ago and they are fabulous. Guest guest
I’m trying to imagine an immersion bender—I like the typo. But I don’t like immersion blenders very much. Maybe I use them wrong, but I just prefer using the real blender. Laurie lbilyeu@... Guest guest
I would just be afraid that with a regular blender I'd end up with a mlkshake. Not that that would be bad, but not what I'm looking for. Since I don't even own an immersion blender yet, I'm not sure how it would work. But, it sounds good in theory. Anybody got any experience with these? Thanks Lori in ATL (And I think immersion bending involves jello and scuba gear, but I'm not sure. They'll be adding it to the olympics any day now.) > > > > > > > > I ordered the K-Toos two weeks ago and they are fabulous. Right now you can only buy them online from Kinnikinnick. Shez

I don't miss gluten containing foods one jot, but the dairy, oh, the dairy..... The dairy free " ice creams " just don't have the same mouth feel as real ice creams, though I do make some pretty killer nut milk " ice creams " . Guest guest
I just asked my celiac grocery store in the area to order them. I've been using the Mi-Dels for my dirt cake recipe. Once they sit in the pudding/cool whip/cream cheese mixture and get soggy no one can tell the difference (tested on my husband -haha) but I would love a cookie to dunk in a glass of milk Another happy dance moment....
