You go girl! Everyone needs a break and a couple of hours at a spa would be heavenly I'm sure. I'm glad you like your new pump and that Emma will take to a bottle. Good luck sweetie!

I just used my breastpump!

Well, after all the thought I put into pumping... I just used my new Medela Pump In Style breastpump and I love it! Geez, I can't believe I'm this excited over a breastpump I ordered it online and got the vehicle adapter to go with it... it was $269.99 and they let you split the payment into two payments (which was nice). I got it yesterday, sterlized all the parts, read the manual cover to cover and pumped away this morning! I used both sides at the same time and was able to get 5 ounces total in about 12 minutes. I really like it and hope that I can get Emma to like it too! I am going to have Mike try a bottle tonight. Mike got me a gift certificate to a Spa after I had Emma. I am dying to use it, so hopefully if this goes well, I can make an appointment! {{{HUGS}}}

the next stage to get Emma to take the bottle! I'm sure she will love

having her Daddy feed her too. I hope you get to use that spa cert.

Thats so cool to hear. I'm glad its working as you expected. I never

really thought about it until you guys started talking about breast

pumps.

I just finally got my " pump in style " out a few weeks ago and now I

remember why I liked it so much! I like to pump with Libby on one

side and the pump on the other. I get " tons " of milk that way, but

it does require a lot of coordination!

What a good idea about nursing while pumping. I'm going to try it! I hope I'm coordinated enough or I might have as huge mess on my hands! Thanks for the idea!

No, I don't actually boil it each time, but I do wash it with VERY hot water. The key, I think, is to clean it ASAP after using it. I'm so glad you like it!

Hey . I have the same pump, we had to buy it because of my

infection. Anyways, it does work great. Question, do you sterilze

after each use. I have been but it sure is a pain. I am considering

buying a sterilizing unit?

P.S. The avent hand pump works great too...I already had that one

before I had to buy the pump in style. The avent is actually

" gentler " too incase anyone was wondering.
