BPE - basic physical exam?

just a guess! love it when they make up abbreviations!!! lol

Our paramedics start their narratives many times with " ATF 25 yo (male

symbol)... " Took me a while to figure out that was " arrived to find " !!!

Hi, again,

Has anybody heard of a BPE (appears to be some type of Physical Examination)?

Thanks!

My docs to biophysical profiles (ultrasound to determine gestational age,

a,

I wonder if he means " list " as in he isn't leaning to one side. I know my

husband " lists " when his back spasms up. Just a guess, though! :-)

Another question

Sorry, folks, but I am on my secondary account today which I don't yet have

much experience with.

Patient with low back pain. Doctor dictates: Does have some lumbar muscle

spasm but no acute LIST. He actually spells out LIST. I cannot find this as an

abbreviation but can't determine if it makes sense in the sentence as a regular

word. And why would he spell it out? Any ideas?

Thanks!
