Guest guest
SO if you have gallstones or bilary insufficiency chelating with ala would be counterproductive? > > > > > > Hello, > > > > > > If I remember well somewhere in Andy's books he mentions curcumin and > > > says to be careful taking it if there is a gall bladder issue.. Guest guest
> > SO if you have gallstones or bilary insufficiency chelating with ala > would be counterproductive? > It sounds counterproductive to me. With low bile flow essential fats won't be absorbed properly and essential fats are needed for healing. For this situation a person can supplement with ox bile. What I have noticed in the autism mercury archives is that when someone mentions low bile flow (indicated by pale color stools), someone else (usually Andy) will give the list of supplements that can be taken to increase bile flow. Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Thanks for taking the time to search the references to curcumin and gall bladder.. it is much appreciated.. the more I learn the more I realize Andy's knowledge is vast and good !! Now, i don't have pale colour stools (it happens rarely).. does this mean my bile flow is OK? I am realizing also that I should go ahead and do all those tests for Thyroid and liver.. I have to find an open minded doctor here in Quebec City.. the MD who prescribed LDN to me is pretty good but he lives far far from me.. (i worked it out for that Rx on the phone with him).. but i need to find a cooperative MD here to do all these free T3, T4, etc... (is there any specific test to be done for the adrenals also??) Another question.. sorry guys.. , I know you told me that for the Plasma Cisteine and Sulfate/Cisteine I have to deal with Great Smokies Lab.. is there a way this can be done here in Canada instead.. because sending sample (plasma or other ) to the US is a hastle.. it is a headache!! If there is a way I can do it here locally and I can try to convince some MD to prescribe it for me.. Any suggestions from Canadians here ?? (do I need an MD prescription to do the Great Smokies tests (cisteine, etc..) Last question: what kind of sample do they need, blood, urine, etc..!!?) Sorry guys for these redundant questions.. I am at pre-school as yet!! I've been on LDN for more than 2 weeks now.. the only " Benefit " I am getting is 'more stiffness' in my left side.. so my walking is even worst.. but they say to wait at least two months to see results.. Patience is the way to go.. I guess.. A friend of mine in US is willing to ship me some DMSA (whenever I am ready to start).. so this one at least got sorted out, thank God.. Wishing a good day to everyone and thanks for your patience! Guest guest
Michel, Have you thought about ordering a hair test? You can get some info about your thyroid and adrenal status from it as well as determining which metals might be a problem. Probably a lot cheaper and much less hassle than tryin gto find a doc to do the blood work. See http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/ > > > > > > SO if you have gallstones or bilary insufficiency chelating with > ala > > > would be counterproductive? > > > > > > > It sounds counterproductive to me. > > > > With low bile flow essential fats won't be absorbed properly and > > essential fats are needed for healing. Guest guest
So if you have gallstones ala would be counterproductive and not helpful in chelation? Also I don't think its a good idea to take ox bile because it can cause gastritis because bile is alkaline and your stomach is acidic the bile would neutralize the stomach acid and irritate your stomach > > > > SO if you have gallstones or bilary insufficiency chelating with ala > > would be counterproductive? > > > > It sounds counterproductive to me. > > With low bile flow essential fats won't be absorbed properly and > essential fats are needed for healing.
