Hi Deb,

So glad to hear it wasn't a blood clot. Don't feel stupid. The symptoms you

described are characteristic of blood clots so you were wise to seek

treatment. Take care, Elaine

Glad you're ok. It's better to be safe than sorry!

Deb,

Don't feel stupid! It is so much better to err on the side of caution than

to ignore it, especially with your history! I am so glad there is no clot!

I am glad to say there is no blood clot. I feel so stupid. The doctor

asked if I bumped it, don't remember, I think I did. Or he said it could be

from just sitting. Which I think I leaned my leg against the coffee table

when I was sitting last night. Probably what happens when your over weight.

It was so hot and red, it scared me. And the skin looked funny. He said

with the blood clot I had before I should be concerned, but I do feel dumb.

He told me to take it easy for a few days, keep it elevated and if the red

gets worse, or I get pain to get to the ER. I waited to long the first

time, and if I hadn't the blood clot would have never gotten as big as it

was. Thanks for the prayers, and who knows. The leg is getting better.

Dear Debbie

I'll be praying for you. I hope it's nothing too serious. Weird things can

happen to the skin of the shins with GD -

so maybe it is that??? I guess when you get to read the replies, you'll be home

safely again.

Take Care

Dear Debbie

Good to hear it is not serious. I agree with everyone else - better safe than

sorry. Good excuse for taking a rest!

Cheers
