Guest guest
Sue, a friend of mine takes 1/2 a tylenol pm the night before trips because she has trouble falling asleep. I stayed at her house the night before we left on a trip with our chorus. I don't sleep well at all somewhere new, so we split a tylenol pm. I felt wide awake when we went to bed, but I drifted off before long. It relaxed me just enough to go to sleep. If 1/2 doesn't work I'm sure it wouldn't be harmful to use a whole one. This was a lifesaver for me and I intend to do it before any trip I go on and maybe bring some for while I'm there. I'm terrible at sleeping away from home. I am not sleeping well b/c of my little one and I might have a chance in the next few days to try and go to bed early but thought something like Tylenol PM or something like that might help me stay in bed. Any tips or warnings or suggestions? Sue H

I have ALWAYS had trouble sleeping... and STAYING asleep. But since I've started taking my Calcium-Magnesium at night before bed, I sleep like a LOG!! > Any tips or warnings or suggestions? I think its pretty safe... I wouldn't exceed the recommended dosage though. I find that three 350 mg tablets works beautifully!! jinxie
Guest guest
Valerian works well for this and is generally available in grocery & drug stores. An antihistamine such as Tylenol PM will work, but may leave you feeling groggy the next day. Are you nursing? Guest guest
If Tylenol PM works for you, great!. All Tylenol PM is is Benadryl and Tylenol. You can save money by buying the generic Benadryl and the generic Tylenol. Many people take Benadryl to help them sleep. I am one of those people whom Benadryl keeps awake.
