Guest guest
, Are you still lowering your Pred? This could cause the wheezing and congestion in your lungs. My breathing got worse when I went off the Pred. Just a thought anyway. As for the bloodwork. The high MCV and MCH is probably due to the Dapsone. Mine are both high now due to Dapsone and doc says that's how she knows I'm taking it. LOL It's all a trade off I guess! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> From: Idigflower@... I am wanting to go off the Dapasone, Because I have been getting BAD headaces and chest colds and I weez and some other issues. I put a call in to the Doc and I know he will say no, But I have to, the Dapasone is getting me sick. I will stick with my Pred and Enbrel, and hopefuly continue to taper the Pred slowly. Although I feel yucky and inner ears are hurting again but not severe.(I think it is the Dapasone doing it to me!) My bloodwork looks good, other then Low RBC, High WBC and High MCV, and High MCH. I am starting to feel like a YO-YO, Good, Bad, Good, Bad, Good, Bad. All I want is 6months - 1 year of Feeling normal, I am tired of being teased like this, 6-8 weeks then BOOM all hell breaks lose again. And I hate paying almost $500.00 a month For my Enbrel, but I know it keeps me in check, and with out it I would be in bed, so I guess being poor and well is beter then being in bed and sick.
