If only that were true Robin... I haven't been eating from my safe foods

list for over a week now and I've puffed back up to 221 - starting Monday

(after the

birthday-extravaganza-still-eating-low-carb-but-eating-all-my-favourite-trea

ts-including-strawberries-for-breakfast-weekend) I'll be doing a water fast

and back on another round of elimination dieting - so there is hope I can

catch you again!

Gonna be a case of the turtle vs. the hare... I'm just gonna have to use

cunning and perserverance - luckily I'm an ethical turtle or I'd start

putting subliminal Krispy Kreme references in my emails! ;-)

Here are my stats...220/212/150...I gained a couple of pounds this week,

it was my sons birthday and I've been snitching cheats all week, ugh. So

I've got a bit head start but am having trouble sticking to it at the

moment. This may be just the incentive I need. As your first email came

challenging me to join the race, I was eating a cookie, roflol. I find it

hard to be really strict this time as I know it works and the weight will

eventually come off. I do want to be back down by fall if at all

possible, though, I have a closet full of clothes to wear that I can't

wear now anyway because I'm nursing the baby. I have a bunch of cute

t-shirt dresses I bought when I was first pregnant that I would love to

wear on vacation, if I could drop 30 pounds by then I bet they'd

fit....yikes...I sure need this challenge!

I know, can you believe it? I've made a fabulous dinner to take to some

friends' house (long story) but am now motivated to only eat the LC

parts. I may have a tiny sliver of the cake I slaved over but at the

moment I don't even want that so I'm psyching myself up for it now. I've

got steak marinating and am making crab salad, so will concentrate on

those to fill me up. Yay :) We had a few warm days this week so I was

able to walk, I have a route I always take that's about 3 miles and

takes me 45 minutes to an hour depending on how fast I'm walking, that

probably kept me from ballooning up this week. I'm really wanting to get

this going, though, we are seeing all my inlaws on vacation at the end of

June, sure would be nice to have gotten a good portion of this weight off

by then.

I have a closet FULL of clothing I can wear WHEN I get this weight off.

Several denim jumpers, nice outfits for church, I've even been buying off

the sale racks now for next fall. I LOVE new clothes. I shop Walmart and

Kmart mostly, I don't like to spend a real lot on my clothes as

with 5 children they get stained before they ever wear out while I'm

cooking or being with them and my husband. Plus I just get tired of stuff

after a while. I do have some really nice outfits from Dress Barn and

Fashion Bug, too, but I love shopping the bargains, I'd rather have a

bunch of cheap clothes than one or two really nice things so I don't get

bored!
