Guest guest
Hi guys!I don't write very often, mostly lurk...got a ques. for you so... Anyone else have a " numb " skull?Really it sounds funny but what I mean is I cannot feel the heat (like in a shower) on my scalp and it is not very sensitive to the touch. Seems to have started about the same time as this awful head and neck pressure about a year ago.Not a headache per se but like an overinflated balloon might feel if it had nerves(LOL). This has been this way for over a year constant. In that time I've seen four docs (didn't know a lick about ACM) I try to tell them about it and they look at me like I've just got off a spaceship and said " y7t7c67 5bhftfgcse " i hate that when they look at me that way! Anyway, anyone else got this weird problem? Before i had other ACM symptoms but don't recall anyone mentioning this.... Good thing I don't wtite in often, huh?Sorry so long..... Guest guest
I had noticed this the other day. It is mostly along my incision but other places on my head do not feel the heat of the shower or the hair dryer unitl it is too late. I thought it was due to the cutting of the nerves. I have noticed that on the upper part of my back, the water in the shower does not feel as hot as other places (ie stomach or hands even). Guest guest
Yes, I have this too. I am one month post op and while there is itching, I am numb, especially along and around incision. My nsg says this is normal and some will remain. Makes sense, I am still numb around and along incision from appendectomy which was 23 years ago.
