Thank you VERY much for the listing. I printed it out and will make my

notes accordingly. I have one question re: intramedullary. My '

abbrev book, Tessier's Surgical Book, and HPI rad book all have listings for

" intra. " Stedman's Ortho has BOTH, intermedullary and intramedullary. Now

I'm confused.

I was wondering the same thing, but figured if anybody had a question about

it, they would research it also. According to my Dorland's, only

intramedullary is listed and its definition is: 1. within the spinal cord.

2. within the medulla oblongata. 3. within the marrow cavity of a bone.

I'm going to email my boss regarding that one and ask about it. I'm

wondering if she may have mis-typed it and it should be the opposite way

around.

I'll let ya know what I find out.

Don't you all think that in view of how much we spend in terms of money on

any single Stedman's book that this is unacceptable? I wonder how one would

be able to get their point across in large enough numbers to be heard by

this company, that this just really is not the kind of company I want to get

my books from. Anyone else have an opinion to share?

I cut and pasted the list into word and these few listed did come up as being

spelled incorrectly. I'm not sure what version of Stedman's you are using, but

I'm using version 2001.

I notice that canula is listed in Dorlands, but no definition is given, just

refers you to cannula. I would guess either way is correct, but cannula would

more than likely be preferable.
