Guest guest
Hi Becca Sweetie, Yep 17. But that is 17 LIVING! I have lost one Son a few years ago I have 18 kids. I actually have more than that BUT...... My Husband & I lost our first baby girl when I was 14. I married very young. Then I had our Son. I lost 2 more so I adopted a sibling group of 4. So when I was 18 I had 5 kids. Then I had my daughter. Then I lost another, then a set of twins. Then had my baby boy & that was a close one he is my miracle child. Then I lost 5 more. 10 pregnancies, 11 babies. Then I adopted 5 more another sibling group. Then one young man that was a sick child. He is the one we lost. Our beautiful Lee. He had an enlarged heart and the Docs said he'd never live to be past 16, but the Lord let me keep him until he was 22, married and with a child. It was hard but I knew he was only on loan from the start! Then I took my brothers 5 children and raised all of them. I also raised the Son of a friend. So yea I have 18 in all. I was a Grandmother young. My next to the oldest daughter had her first baby my oldeast granddaughter 18 months before I had my youngest that lived. I didn't even count my Step Kids here or you would be shocked LOL! If I could have carried all the babies I would have probably gave birth to 18 or more. But the Lord thought I needed to have special children who needed a good Mother so he sent me the special ones. I love kids and wanted a big family. I was raised in a big family. My Mother also only had 3 children that lived and lost 10 but like me she took in every stray that came along. So we had a huge family. It has been very rewarding. Yes it's had it's moments of torment as well but I wouldn't take for a single one of them. The good far out weighs the bad. God Bless!
