Guest guest
I DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION BUT HAVE ONE FOR YOU. dID YOU GET A WESTERN BLOT TEST? IS THAT THE MOST DEFINITIVE TEST FOR LYME? THANKS IN ADVANCE, KATHY [low dose naltrexone] question ms and lyme I have been a LDN for 3 months now at 3.0 for my MS that was Dx 3 years ago, as of yesterday I had another test for lyme disease that was +for borrelia burgdorfieri at a low range. I will soon start cat's claw for the lyme recommended by my holistic MD, she will be talking to my MD and I don't know of yet if I will go the antibiotic route. She said that my symptoms may or maynot be MS that they maybe related to lyme or I may have both> My question is I read that ldn won't work for lyme, but I don't want to go off of it for ms, but will I be okay on it with the other drugs I will start to take? Does anyone know of any good wed site on both lyme and ms? thanks for any input, JC
Guest guest
LDN is an immune stimulator and anyone with a chronic illness has a bad immune system, so it is fine to use it. I would be willing to bet that many people with MS diagnoses have underlying Lyme. The testing for Lyme is bad and looks for antibodies your body is producing to fight it. By the time most people get tested their immune system is so devastated that they cannot produce the antibodies and test negative. The symptoms for Lyme and MS over lap almost identically. I am sure if you would have been tested for Lyme before 3 months of LDN you would have tested negative, but being on LDN has allowed your immune system to start working enough to start producing antibodies to the Lyme. Cats Claw is a good start if you muscle test well for it. It is in the quinalone family of antibiotics and can cause some people grief with their tendons. Silver is a good option and using a rife machine my also benifit, but you will just have to find what works best for you. I am sure you will make big strides though now that you know you have Lyme as an underlying condition. Good luck. Steve <;((((>{
Guest guest
Now this is getting really interesting - Question - How would you dose the colloidal silver and olive leaf capsules? Would Zell-Oxygen (first I've heard of it) help deliver oxygen to the brain and a GI tract that struggles with anaerobic organisms? And how much would be desirable? Say for an 82-pound individual? Guest guest
They are utilizing hyperbaric oxygen chambers for deliver oxygen to the brains of autistic kids. Since I don't live anywhere near where this is going on, need an alternative way to get oxygen to the brain and gut? Do you think the Zell-Oxygen would be it? Guest guest
Dear Kathy, I live part time in NY and I do not know if the first test that I had for Lyme was the western blot test, I tried to get the answer from my Nero and they answered me but say the standard lyme test, I called the lab and they told me to call my doctor> My holistic doctor who I see about every 4 weeks kept getting lyme when she muscled tested me and suggested the Bowen Research and Training Institute for their testing. This is where I got the report from. I also was muscle tested for cat's claw and that was a yes, I will now ask about olive leaf and colloidal silver, thanks for all the input, jc [low dose naltrexone] question ms and lyme I have been a LDN for 3 months now at 3.0 for my MS that was Dx 3 years ago, as of yesterday I had another test for lyme disease that was +for borrelia burgdorfieri at a low range. Guest guest
Absolutely, the bugs can colonize in the heart arteries forming a blockage. The good thing is that it can be dissolved by taking treatment. I know of many that have had it including my self. It can also cause rhythm problems and palpitations. Guest guest
The only way to stop group emails is to click on the unsubscribe link, which is appended below on all sent emails. Sorry to see you go... If the heavy 'individual emails' volume bugs the heck out of you, you can change your distribution to a 'daily digest' to cut them back to one large email a day?
