Guest guest
Hi.. I am rather shocked that a pediatrician wouldn't have growth charts. The formula companies give them out for free..They come in a big pad, blue for boys, pink for girls. I only have the blue charts, so I can't help you out. If you have the " What to Expect the First Year " book, it has growth charts in it for boys and for girls. It doesn't have the height/weight ratio chart, however. Guest guest
p.s. If you take a look at the talk by Dr. Harbison given at the conference last year, her slides presented growth charts of RSS kids she has seen. I thought a paper version of the slides would come with the video, but they did not. I'll probably give them a call to see if I can get copies. Then again, since I'm meeting Dr. H. in 2 weeks, maybe I'll just ask her secretary for copies of the talk. I'll bring a diskette with me and if I can, load them up (I think it was a Powerpoint presentation)...I'll let you all know if I have it in a few weeks. Guest guest
Hi Kara, Yes I'll gladly look but keep in mind that is a boy. The pedo endo gave us a chart for a boy. I have a book that has growth chrts in the back. I'll check that also. You might want to call your pedo endo and have them mail you a few charts. I think you can buy them at a medical supply store. Hope this helps Ken M > ---------- > From: kirkara@...[sMTP:kirkara@...] > Reply To: RSS-Supportonelist > Sent: Wednesday, April 21, 1999 9:37 AM > To: RSS-Supportonelist > Subject: growth charts > > From: kirkara@... Guest guest
Also are you aware that their is a RSS growth chart? I have both the normal growth charts and the RSS chart charts. My peds. endo was great in getting me these. Also I keep a copy of their complete medical history at home, that way I can watch their progress too. Guest guest
, I would also like to have a copy of the RSS growth chart if you have one for females. My pediatrician does have a regular growth chart that she uses on my daughter. I think it is a preemie chart that he uses that she is still way low on. She didn't even begin to make it onto a regular growth chart. It is the height/weight ratio chart that he doesn't seem to have. Thanks Kara Mom to 17 mo. twins Koen (nda) and Kaci - RSS. reflux, Mic-Key
Guest guest
, I'd love a copy. I have a son - is it different for boys and girls?
