Guest guest
Debbie, Yes. I take Robaxin, and it works for me. I also have TMJ, and it really helps with that as well. I take a half a pill in the afternoon, and one at night. It makes me drowsy enough to fall asleep at night, but I also take Elavil. The combination allows me to fall asleep, and get a good nights' rest, without taking regular sleeping pills. This works for me, but everyone is different. I hope this helps, though. - deebs87 wrote: Hi, My new insurance in Jan is Blue Cross and Blue Shield. It doesn't cover 5 of my meds. One is my muscle relaxant Soma. But they do cover Robaxin. Has anyone ever use it? My pharmacy has the generic form for $5 copay. Debbie J
Guest guest
Hi , Thank you so much for responding to my note!!!! Happy to know at least you read them. When I see my rheum in Dec I will ask him for the Robaxin then. I also take Elavil at night with the Soma. Your information was very helpful. Debbie J > > Debbie, > > Yes. Guest guest
I am late in catching up on emails/posts so if this has already been answered, I apologize. How does Robaxin work for you guys? Do you get any buzz or headrush? Do you get relief? Flexeril does not work at all for me and Zanaflex makes me paranoid. I currently take Soma but I am wondering if I am building up a tolerance. I also take Vicoprofen. Thanks, deebs87 wrote: Thanks Kristy. > > > > Debbie, > > > > Yes. Guest guest
I am on 400 mil of Celebrex,. 10 mg of Flexerill and 300-600 mb of Neurontin. they help me sleep but not so sure it helps with the pain In a message dated 11/14/2006 12:43:49 P.M. If I take it earlier in the day it does make me dopey for a while. My new insurance doesn't cover Soma so I have to switch to Robaxin. Hopefully the Robaxin won't give me a buzz or headrush either. Guest guest
I wonder if you could submit a form asking them to cover the soma. I no I was able to get them to cover it when they normally do not. Personally once I find things that work I do not have any desire to change even if I have no choice. I do well with soma as well. let us no how the new med works. hugs Re: anyone try robaxin? HI Becca, I am the one who asked about Robaxin so I haven't taken it yet. Guest guest
Hello, -Thanks for the suggestion to use the form. How do I get a special form to keep using the Soma? Soma works for me but I have been on it for several years so maybe I should change it. I am willing to try the Robaxin since the generic form is only $5 at my pharmacy. Four of my other meds aren't on Blue Cross or at a very high copay. I am willing to change those, also. hugs to you, Debbie J -- In Fibromyalgia_Support_Group , " Amber and Ruby " wrote: > > I wonder if you could submit a form asking them to cover the soma.
