What do you do to keep active?

I clean my house constantly it seems... and I walk.

Is your weight keeping you from performing certain physical activities?

I would really love to see the day when I can jog. We are slowly getting

there. When I walk my miles each day, I am averaging about 4 mi. per hour.

Do you have a dream of pursuing a sport [example: skydiving, bungee

jumping, water skiing etc] when you lose weight?

I would LOVE to play tennis, water ski definately. I am a big volleyball fan

too. I used to be real active in junior high. I was the last one picked for the

first few months till they realized that even fat people can move too. hahahaha

I think I am so excited about losing the weight and feelign the energy that I

am just about ready to move doing anything.

>What do you do to keep active?

Right now not a whole lot. The doctor wants me to take it easy until I build

my strength back up, so only light hand weights and I try to use recumbent bike

for a few minutes a day (when I remember it lol).

>Is your weight keeping you from performing certain physical activities?

Yes, I don't have the energy, ability or strength to do very much. It also

causes me a great deal of pain.

Yes, I would love to learn Aikido or some other forms of martial arts. I would

also like to get back in to yoga. Maybe even horseback riding.

I think my mind holds me back more than the weight. I still see myself very

overweight.

rollercoaster seat, not be afraid to wear a bathingsuit and go to a water park

and last all day.

My answers are below

sharonloserswebmaster wrote: What do you do

to keep active? I want to join the Y and do water aerobics again - until I feel

energized enough to do the other classes that I've always been scared I was too

big to do - like Tai Bo or Tai Chi or that one with the big ball you roll around

on.

Is your weight keeping you from performing certain physical activities?

My weight keeps me from diong a lot - .such as riding bike or walking very far.

Even dancing - when my baby brother got married I was afraid to dance with him

because I knew he couldn't put his arms around me.

Do you have a dream of pursuing a sport [example: skydiving, bungee

jumping, water skiing etc] when you lose weight? I'm not really an athletic

person, but I would like to play vollyball - something I've always enjoyed but

never been good at.
