Guest guest
Hello Ya'll, I have been following this and Diane is very right. I also have the pain a lot. Many times it has been my heart as well. BUT....they gave me Nitrostat spray. I use it if in doubt. If it is your heart it will help ease the pain. Then you know if it comes back to go to the Hospital immediately. If it doesn't help then it probably is not your heart and you will have a slight to severe headache from the nitro. That is the only way I know of to determine the difference. But if it is my heart I ussually (NOT ALWAYS) have a sharp pain that shoots up my neck in the coroatid artery. None of us are the same so I agree with Diane to have it checked. There is a non-stress stress test these days that you can take for us with fibro and other problems. They inject an agent that shoots your heart rate up same as if you were doing the tread mill test. Medicine has come so far these days. I hope this helps. God Bless!
