Guest guest
HI All, I got a job offer today and I accepted it and now the panic is setting in. It is part-time - 4 days a week - 6 hours a day, which should be doable. I am just more concerned with the fibro fog than anything. I used to be so good at keeping everything in my head and maybe it is still in there but I just cant find it. Then the panic/anxiety starts. Does anyone have anything they take or do that helps with the fog so that I don't look like a complete idiot on a new job. The last job I had (fulltime) and I shouldnt have taken it but I just needed/wanted to work lasted all of three weeks. I didnt sleep the last week at all and the anxiety was so bad one day I literally couldnt think at all let alone think straight. I was lucky I could breath. So at the end of the third week I just told them it wasnt what I thought it was going to be and left. I was still in the probationary period. I really dont want to do that ever again. I felt like I such a failure. The job really was high-stress though and not what I thought it was going to be. I didnt tell these folks about the FMS. They didnt have anything on their application about it and since it is part-time hopefully it will work out. Lately I have been doing really well - no flares - a little tired with some soreness but not bad at all. Then again I am in the house with only my dog and husband so heck where is the stress in that. Hubby said try it and you can always quit if you don't like it. Then again I look on that as a failure. - Am I stressing or what! Wish me luck and let me know if you know of anything that can help with the fog and the panic/anxiety. Thanks is
Guest guest
Good luck is. I will be sending you good wishes. BTW, maybe I will sneeze on the pokers and eye rollers. Maybe that will get em. I have a full time job but have been thinking of a part time second job but am also afraid that it will be too much. I'm kind of in a money crunch as are many of us but I'm afraid that I won't be able to find something that doesn't require bending, no heavy lifting, and something where I can sit on my behinder the whole time. LOL. I wish you much luck though in your new job. Love, Jayne > > HI All, > > I got a job offer today and I accepted it and now the panic is > setting in.
