Sounds horrible. I'd never want to see something like

this.

You know, I went and read more reviews and they say very little about the

child who was murdered. Leland looks like a big hero.

Terrific.

The really scary thing about this is, teenagers are so impressionable. Okay,

they're STUPID!

I have no doubt in my mind that some idiot is going to see this movie and

try to be a " hero. "

I'll never trust another teenager once this comes out.

Shit, why did they have to make a movie like this????

Why???????????????

I'm going to write a nasty letter right now. Screw this.

Who are you writing to? I want to write, too.

The thing is, they'd never DARE make the murdered child Down's or with

cerebral palsy or even mentally retarded.

But autism is so " scary " .

That pisses me off.

I don't know if I should send this, but it's been bugging me and I just want

to put it out there so that nobody goes to this movie (in 2003) and gets a

faceful of hurt. It should be big box office, because it starts Spacey.

Anyway, it's called " The United States of Leland " , and this is the summary of

the movie:

>>>Premise: This is the story of a sensitive teenager, Leland (Gosling), faced

with issues of morality and hope under difficult circumstances, who is arrested

and sent to juvenile hall, after he kills an autistic child out of sympathy

(sort of like an emotional euthanasia). Once there, he meets a teacher, Mr.

Pearl (Cheadle), who helps him figure out the reasons for why he committed the

crime, as we also see the ramifications of the murder have on his community, his

family, and that of the victim.

Just wanted to warn you all that this will be coming to a theatre near you.

I, for one, will be giving this one a wiiiiiidddddde berth.

Tysabri is given by infusion

Biogen.comThe more you take Tysabri, the more likely a potentially deadly brain

infection could occur.

That's what the new label is going to say on the prescription for Tysabri for

patients with Multiple Sclerosis.

Biogen Idec Inc. and Elan Corp., the companies manufacturing Tysabri, are adding

the new information when prescribing the drug, according to Bloomberg News in a

report Saturday (Nov. 7).'

The possiblity of contracting the often-fatal brain disease, progressive

multifocal leukoencephalopathy or PML, increases after two years of having the

Tysabri infusions.

In 2005, the drug was temporarily suspended after a few cases were reported, and

recently the Europeans are considering suspending the medication after 23 cases

and four deaths were reported.

The rate of infection is 1 in 1,000 for patients on the drug from 24 to 36

months, and the rate beyond three years isn't known, according to Biogen Idec

spokeswoman Naomi Aoki.

At the moment, 43,300 people are on Tysabri. The company expected to have more

than 100,000 patients by the end of 2010. About 13,400 have been on it two years

or more.

Commentary: I have been on Tysabri and fall into the time that is considered

dangerous, but my neurologist schedules regular blood tests.

Dudley,

Read your open letter to those with MS. Great info! Thank you. I was diagnosed

with MS 3 years ago, refused all pharmaceutical drugs and embarked on a holistic

approach. I am doing many of your recommendations but in addition I do juicing

daily. I drink about a quart of fresh green juices daily. I swear by getting

these live nutrients and enzymes into the body daily! One green I juice

regularly is cilantro which is great for chelation of heavy metals from the

body.

Talking about heavy metals, I have a mouth full of silver and 3 root canals. I

have an appt with a holistic dentist to come up with a plan to have them all

removed. Has anyone else done the same? What kind of results have you

experienced?

Thanx!

Joni

Dudley Delany....

In regard to colloidal silver......this stuff scares me. I saw a guy on TV who

turned blue....yes, BLUE from using this stuff. I would like to kill those nasty

little micro organisms but would rather not be blue. How did this happen?

Recommendations?
