Well, I'm going to try and get back into things here this week. Kep goes

back to school on Monday, so I should have a little more time to read

email. :)

<<<<

We missed you! Hope you can stick around this time

>>>>

I installed the alarm on the door yesterday and set it off once. Kep

absolutely freaked. It is a HORRID sound. So, I think it will do the

trick. This week, I'll get another one for the other door.

<<<<

Good! Hope it works!

>>>>>

Kep's IEP: It went very well. We got what we wanted, which was to have

Kep stay at Croyden for the entire next year. There is a small

possibility that we will transition him to kindergarten next January,

but not unless Kep meets certain important goals. I really don't want to

do a mid-year transition, but we'll make that decision in Nov. Who

knows. I might change my mind.

<<<<<

Great thing about IEP's! You can change them whenever necessary.

>>>>

My doc's appt: She doubled my celexa dose and gave me back my xanax.

Yay. She told me NOT to worry about my abnormal pap right now. We will

do another one in early Sept and see what that one says.

<<<<

Yeah for your Doc! My pap came back abnormal (again) after a normal one and

after 3 colposcopies and one LEEP procedure. Mu doc may want to do a Cone

Biopsy next...I just don't know....... anyway...

<<<<<<

I need a little encouragement: Once AGAIN I am quitting smoking... on

Monday. This last round of bronchitis has been horrible. I can't breath

and have to use my inhaler several times a day. I cough so hard that I

wet my pants or throw up. The doc said that if I don't quit soon, I'll

have emphysema by the time I'm 55 and then I would feel like this ALL of

the time. I can't do that. So, I got the patches and I'll finish the

carton I have now, but that's it. I'm a lot more determined this time,

so hopefully.....

<<<<<

When you get the urge to smoke again, re-read the above paragraph. WE dont'

want you with Emphysema, Amy!!! And Kep is going to NEED you to be able to

continue swimming and playing with him! YOU CAN DO IT!

>>>>>

Swimming: We have spent most of this week at my parents' pool. They have

a nice inground pool, and it has been VERY hot here this week. Kep loves

to get in the water, and the last two days I've gotten him to play games

with me in the pool, which keeps him moving (working) in the pool.

Otherwise, he spends all of his time jumping in, climbing out, or

throwing rocks in.

<<<<<<

Swimming is great for Jacqui too. It really changes her mood. I've only

been in once in the last week, as I am fighting what is either a nasty cold

or horrible allergies.

Good to see you Amy!!! Stay with us!!!

Penny :-D

Amy H,

Glad to hear from you! Kep sounds like he's doing good. Glad you're happy

with your med changes. My sis did finally get prozac from her Dr. while we

were there. Do you think my boys had anything to do with it??? ;-)

I hope your stop smoking works for you!

I'm also on 6 month paps right now. First one is due as soon as I call to

schedule it. I think he'll just keep doing the thin preps for now unless it

doesn't clear up by the third one.

Take care!

Sue

BJ,

Sorry to hear about the bathroom collapse. Glad no one got hurt

though.

As for the kids, maybe you should send them back to your mom's and

let her learn why he's gfcf??

I would like to wish you continued decreased pain relief as days go on. I also

as a chronic pain patient know full well what you go through daily with pain.

I'm just so glad the doctor has found you something to help lower your pain

levels. Keep going officer and you maybe able to work again some day. We all

will pray for that for you.

Dear Ron,

I have skipped the computer for 2 days because of lower left

quadrant pain that my decreased meds can't even touch. If it weren't for bad

luck, I'd have no luck at all.

That reminds me of a song they sang on that TV show " Hee Haw " when I was a kid

Gloom, despair, and agony on me

Deep dark depression, excessive misery

If it weren't for bad luck at all

Gloom, despair, and agony on me.

My parents watched a lot of stuff that was corny to me, but they both worked

hard just to put enough food on the table, and Hee Haw wasn't as goofy as

Lawrence Welk, but it helped them cope.

I'm not making fun of you but just looking at our sufferings I have to think of

something to make me smile, and that makes me think of the most ridiculous

stuff. They do say laughter is the best medicine.

I'm so sorry to hear that you're suffering so, Ron. I wish I could take your

pain and disease

away for you, but all I can do is offer comfort and a willing ear when you need

it. We're all

pulling for you.

Ron,

I cried reading your email, its all just so damn unfair (I know, I

know, no one ever said life was fair)!  Yes, we have been following

your trails and tribulations throughout. I am so sorry that you are

having to endure such pain. They should AT LEAST find a way to make you

as comfortable as possible during this time. Its called quality of life

and you deserve it Ron! Again, I am so sorry and I will be praying for

you.

Well I haven't given a update for a while. . As a lot of you know, Ihave had a

problem for the last 5 years with a Neuropathy that gets upto a 9 - 10 a lot of

the times. I''ve even got a stimulator implantwithno help. Some are also aware

that 3 months I came down with terminal throat cancer. I'm about half way

through my chemo and radiation.
