Medicaid and Insurance Deductable

We have a pediatric client that we are going to begin and the child has both

private insurance and Medicaid. Mom called Medicaid to ask how her deductable

would work when her child has Medicaid. The powers that be at Medicaid explained

to her that our clinic could not bill Medicaid for her deductable and that she

would be responsible for it. Does this sound right?
