Guest guest
> My response to your questions below. We are a 58 bed IRF with 3 physiatrists. > Do you have problems with your physicians being punctual for Team conferences? Yes, sometimes. > Do you receive frequent requests from them to reschedule the time/day of the conference? They rarely if ever request this. If they are off, we split the list between the covering docs. > > How late are they? minutes, hours? 30 minutes late is usually the max > Do you accommodate the requests to reschedule? Yes, if it does not disrupt operations. Even if they give very short notice (i.e. that same day)? No, we would have to cancel and this would be very unusual. > Do you wait on them to begin the conference? Yes how long do the team members wait? Up to 30 minutes; staff will leave and come back as necessary. > Are there consequences to the physician for not being punctual? We have a one to one discussion. > Are your physicians employed by your facility? No > >We've worked with the docs and their office manager on times that work for them for team conferences. We typically begin at 11:30 am.
