Guest guest
With your MCTD...do you get a crawling sensation in certain nerves/muscles? I'm thinking it's my nerves getting involved, but not sure. Saw my GP yesterday and she's sending me back to the neurologist to see what this is all about. Once or twice a week, my feet start to tingle...and it will happen when I'm in bed, resting. That's the odd part. My right hand is totally involved in the tingling now but I don't think it is affecting the strength, dropping things a bit more often, and sense of touch has changed. She also switched me to Unithroid after I insisted...she said she didn't think Synthryoid is as unregulated as is stated, but then I asked her why did she have to change my dose twice in one month because my TSH fluctuated so badly...and then my hair started falling out, she smiled and said, ok...I'll write a Unithroid script for you! LOL! Hypothyroidism is now being called an auto-immune disorder! I didn't know that...tired of just taking a pill, time to find out more about it! Do you ever feel like a giant jigsaw puzzle? LOL!
